Help with Past-Due Energy Bills: MRC & Energy Outreach Colorado

At Mountain Resource Center, we know that many families are still feeling the financial strain caused by COVID-19. Job losses, medical expenses, and rising costs have made it harder for households to keep up with essential bills. No one should have to choose between heating their home and paying for food or other necessities. That’s why we’ve partnered with Energy Outreach Colorado to assist those struggling with past-due energy bills

How We Can Help

Through our collaboration with Energy Outreach Colorado, we provide support for qualifying households to help them catch up on energy costs and avoid disconnection. If you or someone you know is facing past-due electric or gas bills, we encourage you to reach out.

Financial Assistance – Eligible households may receive direct support to cover past-due balances and prevent shut-offs.
Guidance & Resources – We’ll help connect you with additional programs to manage energy costs long-term.
Support During Difficult Times – Many families are still recovering from the financial impacts of COVID-19, and we’re here to help.

Who Qualifies?

Eligibility is based on income and household circumstances. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, our team is happy to guide you through the process and connect you with the right resources.
